    Who Has Changed Transmission Fluid????

I called my dealer today, he quoted 550 over the phone to change the tranny fluid. But also said they dont touch them til 150K. I was talking to another guy about his bmw (similar lifetime tranny fluid), his dealer echoed similar opinions (dont do it until 150K) but also that sometimes its not...

    Who Has Changed Transmission Fluid????

So mine has about 95K on it. I do get a bit of the transmission hesitation occasionally, nothing too noticeable or bothersome. I am the new owner of mine and am definitely wanting to take any steps to improve longevity now. The tranny fluid change sounds like something I should be looking into...

    18" wheel Tires

I had another thread that sorta touched on this, but what are peoples opinions on the best tires to run on the 18" wheels. Right now I think im defaulting to the the BFG All-terrain T/A KO either 285/65/R18s or 275/65/R18s (ive had these in the past) but there are some other suggestions that are...

    Oversized Spare Tire mod

what would peoples opinion be on a tire that would also be good on the hard pack snow. Basically i want something that can perform on trails, asphalt, and snow/ice. Are the duratracs (all MTs) really noticeably poor on the hard packed/plowed surfaces? In the past i have run the bfg T/A KOs...

    Difference between 05/06/07?

I made a saved search on both those sites and watched them for a couple months. that was a great way to get a feel for what they were going for and what features they had. You can also call LR dealerships with the VIN to look up any service history as well as check for features that may be...

    Difference between 05/06/07?

I literally just bought a used 08. from the people i talked to, they said to stay away from the 05s as they were still working out some kinks with the air suspension etc. 06s a little and shouldnt really worry about it with 07s. that being said, anything can break at anytime. so with a used car...

    Steel/Any Wheels/Offroading Tires/AirSuspension LIfts

Thanks guys great info. Yeah I wish i could snag the sliders off my 94. They are Rovertym and are very slick, dont jut out, and provide a nice step when the doors are open. sliders will definitely come after the tires. Any experience with people throwing the factory locking rear diff from heavy...
