    In the days of iron blocks if you overheated the engine it wasn't as big of a problem. Aluminum heads warping and cracked head gasket were less involved to fix because you wouldn't hurt the block. Put new heads and gaskets on and thats it. But with an aluminum block for me they are one and done.

    I had a loose chain on mine when I bought it. No codes, just noise. Stick your finger in the oil fil and if you can move the chain then its too lose. I could move mine easily. Afterward its as stiff as a board.

    It looks like the plastic brackets are cracked on the exterior sunroof sliding rails for both sides. Do you think its going to come apart on the freeway? It seems like there is a metal part inside the plastic, but its hard to tell. Anyone have cracked brackets or dealt with it before?

    The way is to pressure test it and look for leaks. If you used the Land Rover brand coolant then get a black light and it will reflect like blood on Forensic Files. I don't think any other manufacturer does that lol.
