that old school thinking isn't right anymore on the new stuff. under normal driving, the ZF fluid can go 75k (according to ZF) before you change it. OEMs say 100-125k. So, double ZF's number and you get 150. Transmissions and fluids have come a long way. It was a bigger deal with transmissions... -

thats not bad. I'm still waiting for something that replaces the factory screen with a newer (brighter, more responsive) display and ties into all the factory stuff. I'd pay good money for that. -

I don’t top off, first click and I’m done. I had to do the TSB on my Silverado regarding the vent valve so I’m privy to that stuff. I’m thinking I may have saturated the canister last year when I was having issues filling the truck? I was hoping this would all go away after the fuel flange... -

Ok, fueled up again this morning, truck stalled out about 1/8 mile later at a red light. Idle was rough, a normal person probably wouldn't notice but I could tell. No codes other than the P0442 small evap leak. more live values: idle 3/4-ish throttle, pulling 3k rpm ~50-55 1700rpm or so... -

The ROW LR4s had really low spec stereos available. It could have been down-graded so someone come install an aftermarket stereo, or maybe it’s not a NAS truck? -

MAF issues, reduced performance
Threw a P0442 small evap leak and the "check fuel tank cap" warning on my way home from work yesterday, so we're back around to the beginning of the issue again. If this is all that comes up, I'll wait til after the recall work to dig deeper into it since all that stuff gets disconnected. -

Thanks for the info. Air filters are new (a couple months ago), DMTL pump is a little over a year old but I was really fighting with EVAP stuff and filling the fuel tank last summer. Possible that the canister got soaked in fuel and now isn't bad enough to be bad all the time? -

Ordered, thanks. No CEL still, but on my way to work the motor just turned off sitting at a light. Got the special programs off message on the screen, dont even think the radio stopped playing. Tried to start in neutral, got some sort of gearbox must be in park message, did that and it started... -

Ok had some time today. I’ve been getting the “check fuel cap” warning as well, I changed that a while back and that didn’t fix it. I drove 50 miles with the CEL on, did some light wheeling and camping, drive 50 miles back. No issues. Got home, played around under the hood and heard an air leak... -

Interesting ok. The purge valve is barely a year old, LR part. Doesn’t mean it isn’t bad though. Interesting that you guys are saying air coming out. I’m away for the weekend but I can start chasing this stuff down Monday after work. I’ll start with that purge valve and the line. -

apparently the voltage discrepancy is a bug in the ECU, GAP says to ignore it. Idle and accelerating after resetting the codes on my way home. Seems normal? -

Been tracking a nagging CEL and intermittent rough running. Cleaned the MAF sensors, seemed fine. Truck was very hard to start a few weeks ago, got a MAF code. Cleared up after running for a minute or two, cleaned MAFs again, seemed fine. Since I bought the truck it has had this weird issue... -
Lr4 prices
The numbers I found were US-only. I’m sure there are a lot more globally. There are months (a single month, multiple times) where Jeep moves almost as many Wranglers as V8 LR4s were sold in four years.
