Dear tjp74, Thanks for the article. The LR4 projectors are designed for HIDs. It is the reflector type lights that can cause glare. The cutoff is very sharp and low enough not to disturb oncoming traffic. -

Yes David, It looks like the A part. Just to confirm. You ordered the H11 HID kit. Not the H7. The H11 is the low beam and the H7 is the high beam. You need the H11. -

I don't think you have to take the HIDs out every time the car needs servicing. I don't think they'll even notice. Especially on the drivers side. They won't see anything. Good. Luck with the KIT. it really is an easy install and the results are worth it. Let us know about the caps also... -

I cannot get pandora to play through the speakers of the LR4. It reverts back to the ipod as soon as I select pandora. Can you connect the iphone to the LR4 and play pandora through the speakers?? Thanks, George -

Hi David, Tape would work just fine. YOu can easily get a GREAT seal with tape. I just had a few minutes and decided to try it and it worked great and looks very clean, as if it was instaled by the factory. The kit is the 35 WATT 6000k kit. I got the slim ballast, even though you do not... -

I do not think anyone will look at the caps when the car is returned after a lease but in case something unrelated went wrong, they would blame everything on the HIDs. Don't forget, it is Land ROver we are dealing with. I will order the caps if they are not that expensive. I own the car, but... -

Thanks. Was quite easy and beleive me I not a hands on car guy. Great lighting. They also make a 55Watt KIT, but that one is too bright. ALl the OEM HIDs in all vehicles are 35W as far as I know. If you go with 55W it will be too bright and may cause glare to oncoming traffic. -

Try stain removing detergents like shout or tide. You know, the gel you put on a stain prior to washing a shirt or something. Put it on a wet cloth and scub very lightly. If that doesn't help then take it to a detail guy. if that rakes if off, apply leather protectant and conditioner... -

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new LR4, Soft moist cloth for the nav screen. Do not leave the hitch in unless you are towing everyday. If you leave it in it may seize up ESP if you live in a place where they salt the roads in the winter time. If you leave it in make sure you clean... -

I sealed it pretty well with the electric and duct tape. I don't think that will happen. If it does, I would have to make the hole in the cap. I would like to avoid that however, unless I could get a couple of new caps as backups. -

I will try to take some pics of mine. The HID light is much brighter and sharper than the CV Ultra. The CV is a step above the stock halogens and the HIDs are a few steps above the CVs. If you're happy with the CVs then keep them. All the cars I've had before had the HIDs, so I wasn't really... -

I would take it to the dealer and have them take a look. They will probably not find anything since there is no code at this time, but explain to them what happened so they have a record of it and should it happen again. Good luck and please keep us posted. -

Does nothing to warantee. It's just like replacing a bulb with a ballast attached to it. No splicing or cutting and you can take it with you when you return the car. I am very happy I did it. True plug n play. -
