    Anyone here own a LR2?

    Although I don't own one, I have been driving an 08 LR2 HSE for two weeks as a loaner while my LR3 is being serviced. I have enjoyed it much more than I thought, the only thing that I miss is the interior space of the LR3 and the 3rd row. It's a nice vehicle.

    LR3 needs new front brakes at 12k miles?

    I had to replace mine at a little less than 14k miles. I got the pads from atlantic-british (didn't need to replace sensor or rotors) and had a local shop take care of it for much less than the dealer. Have 36k on it now and the pads are wearing really well. Good luck and check around.

    I've got it narrowed down to Buckingham blue or Stornoway Grey

    I have an 05 SE 7 tonga with tan interior and my tan interior is much much darker than the tan interior of the 07 (as well as 06) LR3's that I drive as loaners. I haven't gotten an 08 yet (I have a service coming quickly and will compare the 08 then).

    I've got the tonga green and as much as the dark colors look great new, they just do not wear as well.

    Accelerator Pedal

    I've had a few instances where applying the brake my foot is on the gas as well and the car lunges forward. It actually happened today.

    I replaced the pads only and got them from Atlantic-British and you should be able to get it done for less than $500.00. Even if you have a local shop to the labor.

    Tail Light Bulb Replacement?

    I have an 05 SE7 and had to replace 2 rear bulbs. I'm an hour away from the dealer and just replaced them myself. They are only a couple of bucks and they are easy to do it yourself. Not worth taking to dealer over. Any auto parts store carries the bulbs.

    Hi I have the SE 7 V8. During one of my services, the dealer gave me a V6 as a loaner. Although it was fine, the V8 is smoother and noticeably stronger. I would suggest that you drive a V8 to allow you to compare the two. If you are not planning to do any towing, the V6 should be fine...

    Buying a service loaner? Bad idea?

    I wouldn't hesitate to buy a loaner from my dealer (actually plan on my next LR3 to be just that.) When in a loaner you sign documentation stating that you will not take off road and pretty much assure it will be in same condition when returning it Plus it's discounted from a new one..

    I have them for all three rows and they work really well. when using the 3rd row seat, just roll up the back mat and it fits great behind the seat

    I had a very similar problem and the dealer replaced it (under warranty) and it has been fine since.

    ignition lockout in new RR

    Try moving the steering wheel back and forth (as if turning left/right) while turning the key--has worked for me when that happens.
