Are LR4's actually bi-xenon?
As a side note, xenon bulbs do not respond well to continual on/off cycling as in European style “flash to pass” use, hence the bi-xenon approach where the bulb is always on. Halogens, on the other hand, have no problem being “dipped” so are better suited to high beam use. -

How much did Safelite charge? I assume they picked up the glass from your dealer. And where did you find the service bulletin? We’ve had a 3-4 crack in the lower right hand corner for a couple years, just planning ahead. -

O2 sensor heaters offline
So, 2015 LR4 at just over 40k and it failed emissions today for O2 heaters inactive. The IID Tool live values confirmed both banks off though no CEL is displayed. My first thought was fuses but all three were good with 12 volts present. Why both banks? Ideas? -

Brake pad sensor function
Trying to avoid buying new sensors for upcoming brake pad change. Does the sensor trigger when it first contacts the disc or does it trigger when worn through? -

We have 38k on the original pads. i told my SO she should drive like a trucker, but she doesn’t. Debating now on changing fronts to avoid difficult access for changing wear sensor. -

Our 2015 was covered but I did not like the shape of the top part of the Interstate the dealer uses. Bought an exact replacement from Bulb and Batteries. I’m a nut on battery hold-downs. IIRC he also wanted to use the smaller group size. -

Yes you do. Now you need Tow Package. The brochure says it consists of “detachable receiver and electrics.” Have you read p.87 of the owners manual where it instructs how to enable and calibrate with the target on your trailer? Sounds complicated to me. Sure would be nice if you could find a... -

Anyone install an electric brake control?
We love our Tekonsha Prodigy which works thru Bluetooth. Absolutely no installation on the tow vehicle but mounts only to the trailer, perfect for multiple tow vehicles with a single trailer.
