    Got the LR3 offroad

Humans were reproducing out in the woods long before hospitals were ever built. Im not saying... im just saying.

It was pretty minor stuff, small tree branches and things. they leave little marks that buff out pretty easily. Probably wouldnt even show up on your silver truck. The LR3 has plastic fender flares, but the LR4s are painted. That is where Aesopian had his worst mark. I wouldnt really do that...

    Got My LR4 STUCK!

There are recovery points, although they are hidden for aesthetic reasons. Consult the manual, on the LR3 there is one in front and one in back and you just have to pop off the little covers to get to them.

    Got the LR3 offroad

Should have come to Metberry with us. If your wife passes her due date without giving birth just take her down the rock and everything will fall into place. http://forums.landroverworld.org/showthread.php?t=18322

"Hold my beer while I drive down this rock" I used some Meguiar's scratch remover on my truck with some success. A lot of the little ones can't be seen anymore and it helped the big one. It is still noticeable if you look for it though. Thats the downside of owning a black vehicle...

Yeah it was a good time. Looking forward to some trails in the Buena Vista/Leadville area when the snow has a little more time to melt.

I am going to buy a handheld CB. I dont really want anything permanent, and I dont really need to talk to anybody more than a few hundred meters away.

    Rocky Mountain summertime trails.

No CB. Ive been meaning to pick up a couple of Motorola's or handhelds of some type, I guess this will make for a good reason to do it. Ill install my rods as well. Weather report looks nice so it should be a good trip. Once you are back at the trailhead, the other 2 trails are right there so...

Looks like it would take about 1.5-2 hours from Denver and its about an hour from me, so like an 8:30 to 9:00 AM meeting time? Works fine for me. I have some tow straps and basic recovery stuff, no winch though.

    Rocky Mountain summertime trails.

I was looking on Google Earth for good places as well, I dont mind going out of the way a little to keep it easy. If you want to meet at 73 and 68 thats fine. Hopefully we can get a few more people interested.

We could meet in Westcreek. I havent been up there yet so I dont know where any good landmarks are. I have a Garmin and a decent sense of direction but its nice to have like a parking lot/gas station etc.. to meet.

I am coming from the Springs, so Hall Valley would be quite a trip from where I am starting. Might be an overnighter with some camping thrown in sometime in the future for me. I also wonder if it may still have a lot of snow. Hackett and Longwater both look pretty fun and they are between the...

Another member told me of a group that is doing China Wall this weekend... All those trails look pretty fun. Ive heard that Metburry/Longwater/Hackett are good, they are all really close together as well. China Wall is not that far from there either. I guess it would depend on how much other...

You probably know the trails better than I do. Anything moderate you or anyone else has been wanting to go run? Fine with me. Anything near the Springs and Denver is an easy day trip. My birthday is actually that saturday as well lol, although getting my truck out and on the trails is what I...

    Rocky Mountain summertime trails.

I have some family that lives in Boulder, I could stay a night with them if there is a trail in that area that requires an early start. Its not really that far of a drive from Colorado Springs. Anyways I am interested, Ill be away for most of April but back at the beginning of May. Once im...

    Rocky Mountain summertime trails.

I have a set of rods on my counter, seem pretty easy to install. I havent taken my lr3 on any complicated trails just yet. Although I do believe in its capabilities, it seems like I get the "you dont want to take that truck there" vibe from a number of people. I am rolling on Hankook Dynapro ATM...

    Rocky Mountain summertime trails.

Yeah there are some good ones in the Buena Vista area. I havent run any of the trails but I have been camping out there years ago, I consider that area one of Colorado's best kept secrets. Keep an eye out in the regionals down here and maybe we will get some reasonable sized runs put together...
