Does anyone know anything about cold air intake for the 2008 LR3? I installed one on my 4Runner and loved it but traded that in for the LR3. I have only seen one model (Air Force One, sold through Rover Accessories, http://www.roveraccessories.com/airforce1.htm) that fits the LR3. Any thoughts...
I found this pic of a Range Rover...do you think these are the same wheels? The wheel doesn't look bad on the Range Rover. I'm trying to decide tonight which wheel to get (vs. the 5 spoke solid on the LR3 V6).

Thanks for your responses...I just got a 2008 LR3 HSE V8 with 19" wheels. I am so annoyed that LR uses 19" wheels. I do understand that probably the majority of the market does not go off-road at all. Nevertheless, you are correct in that I have 19's and am getting 18s.
I'm in Columbus, GA...I saw your comment on my other question on which wheel to pick (which was the 5 spoke solid) - I think that's what I'll do. I've tried looking online for the split spoke to see where it was but not much luck. Thanks for your input.
My dealer is offering to sell this wheel to me as I'm changing to 18" wheels. I heard this was from the Range Rover 2006 Sport. Is this the correct wheel...any opinions?

You are correct...I can't believe I typed that after all the searching I've been doing! Anyway, thank you for the correction. I really like the Nittos but I'm going to do the 265/65/18 so I suppose I've got to find a different brand. Thanks!

This is a question that I am also currently seeking but have done extensive research. I've read all the blogs (at least I think). I've called all the companies especially with rumor about new tires coming out (Pirelli, Nitto, etc.).
I am swapping my 19 wheels for 18 wheels and plan to (next...
What size Coopers?
What size Coopers did you put on your 18's? I think that sounds very reasonable. I have searched and searched...there are no 19" tires available. I've heard rumors of Pirelli and Nitto making some AT tires for the 19" wheel - I called both companies and they had no idea what...
You are correct...I meant to type 265/65/R18 (not 19). That is so crazy that LR uses 19" wheels...why even do that when you can't get a good AT tire for it. I think you're right that the 18" is probably the best choice.
My dilemma now is that I hear that my spare really needs to be the same...
Thanks for the words of wisdom.
So is the 18" wheel the best choice?
Then, I plan to buy 265/65/19 tires...could I go any bigger or wider? Or is that a bad idea?

I'm likely going to replace my stock 255/50/R19 with a larger size. The 19 does not help with regard to selection but I've heard that I can obtain the Goodyear Silent Armor or MTR 265/60/R19 from a few places.
I've not found these places yet but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on...
I am looking to install 4 lights on my accessory rack (forward facing). I've looked a the Hella and Piaa mainly and trying to look at the somewhat small size (compact) as clearance in my garage is tight as is.
Any advice or words of wisdom with which brand, size or model anyone recommends...
I just got my new LR3 yesterday...quick question...the front parking sensor does not seem to work when I push the button. I suppose it is possible that I did not get this feature but I sure think I did. The rear works fine automatically. Any thoughts?

I am picking up my new '08 LR3 this weekend and had a question...I would like to eventually replace the stock tires with something larger and more aggressive. I don't want to get carried away but wanted to know what people recommended.
I believe the 255/55/19 are standard on the HSE...what is...
