Congratulations. If I didn't need any off-road ability or 7 real seats, I probably would have waited to at least test drive the Q7... assuming I could stand driving something with aerodynamics. :smile: -

LR Wants to replace parts...
You had the A-pillar leak, too? I forgot the TSB number... known issue for some. Hasn't happened to me... even though I have one of the earliest LR3s. Or is this a unique problem to you? askewed, if you get another legal "lemon"... you'll get all of your $$$ back. Not just $33K. -

How long for custom order?
It depends on their order call cycle and what the factory is accepting and producing. Land Rover "corporate" will generally not give you updates or accurate estimates... and the dealer can't guarantee anything. Once your car is actually produced by the factory, then they'll know more. :laugh... -

Bluetooth Freakishness
Yes, unlocking the car turns on the head unit... and the Bluetooth features. If I unlock closer to my car, I have time to get the car started before the pairing gets triggered... so the conversation just continues on the vehcile PTI. If I slack, it goes into limbo until I turn the vehicle on. -

Low Fuel warning on NAV screen
Ok, I'll edit too... :) The low fuel warning in Navigation just makes gas station POIs appear when you are low on fuel. If your area has no gas stations in the map database, you won't see anything. The original answer to the original post was Class III. -

CD stuck in player
JimLR3, if that Rob Thomas disc was a DualDisc... that's why it got stuck. If you check your manual, it warns you. It's thicker. (A DualDisc is two sided: one side is a DVD, the other is CD compatible.) The discs can't officially carry the "CD" logo because of this. Warning: If you get a... -

Q7 is in a different class... no off-road capability at all. (No low gears, for example.) I did climb all over it at a show and it is impressive. Probably the best luxury on-road 7 seater. I'm a big fan of Audi interior design and the Q7 is wonderful. The performance will blow away the... -

Sub Woofer not functional??
Yes. As mentioned, you can add an amp... but you'll need to tap/convert the audio from one of the factory amp's speaker outputs. -

Parking brake
If you are not on a hill, it really doesn't matter. But if I'm on a hill... I generally stop/brake and apply the parking brake first (probably a habit since I've driven manuals most of my life)... then I put it into Park. I never let it sit in Neutral... don't see much point in it. -

schafari, I just tried it... it works fine. I can open from the inside. Press once (unlocks main lock), push against the interior hatch and press again (to release the safety, allowing you to push it open). Or something very close to that. You basically have a remote outside button if you... -

Playing a CD with MP3s - Does not show all songs...
As mentioned earlier in this thread, yes it is... and I can rewind and fast-forward inside tracks without any issues. I put ~8-9 albums on a CD-R. (Nothing has changed for me -- still all self ripped MP3 using LAME as the encoder.) -

LR3 cd player replacement?
The integrated design makes it somewhat painful. The higher specification, the more trouble you'll get into. For example... For non-Navigation equipped vehicles, if you remove the head unit... you'll lose your "settings" menu in the instrument cluster. You are better off adding a... -

Thanks for explaining that. You didn't say you were just doing the paint. But Matt... any paint shop can paint all the pieces sucessfully. My favorite body shop here would charge about $1200 USD (with lifetime warranty)... and this area is very expensive! Don't pay more than that. -
