    AUX and IPOD

Yes, Echoes, it works well. As I posted in the other thread, it's only 5 ticks lower in volume (with iPod nano's line-out. Other iPod may vary.) This is much better than without line-out. Beyond that, it's line-driver/amp time for "perfection."

    AUX and IPOD

The Belkin has no amplifier. It's just a straight line-out from the iPod with an attenuator knob to "lower the level" if you want. You can blame marketing.

    Potential LR3 Owner w/ a few Questions

See what the Edmunds "TMV" price is for your area: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2006/landrover/lr3/index.html Though I don't think they show Sirius yet, since it's too new. Add $400 to the price. Prices/demand vary greatly depending on where you live; in the last 3 months, prices have...

    AUX and IPOD

If you are still using the headphone jack of the iPod, you need to at least try something that uses the line-out of the iPod connector. For example, the Belkin car adapter/charger. Multiple threads... use search. For example: http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3019...

    11.2 Mpg!

askewed, but I have achieved 21 MPG on my V8... somewhat downhill and the breeze with me.

    11.2 Mpg!

Well, based my my experience... it seems to be within the range. (See my posting; I did get your mileage 2-3 times.) But you are free to disagree. Anyway, you need to collect more detailed MPG statistics before worrying. Cold temperatures and higher air density also cause worse mileage...

    11.2 Mpg!

It's poor, but it's not completely "out of line"... see this (and the rest of the numerous threads): http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?p=20813#post20813 As posted numerous times, unless you get <12 MPG even on "highway only" -- I don't think you have the "Transport" problem

    Hitch and Wiring Harness

Dave, Alan already said where in posting one. (autowebaccessories) Also, I was talking about Alan's dealer quoted prices... very high.

    Hitch and Wiring Harness

So I guess that means your local dealer wouldn't budge at all on their price, eh? Impressive. That's really high... but they are free to charge what they wish.

    2007 Lr3?

Doubt there will be any meaningful changes, based on Land Rover history. Probably as exciting as 2005 to 2006. Yawn. We'll see... Land Rover normally starts tagging factory builds as the next model year close to the middle of the calendar year... and they start appearing in North America...

    Hitch and Wiring Harness

alan, it won't get much cheaper... unless you get them used or stolen. Just a little lower in price, and they'd take a loss selling it to you. See if your local dealer will get close, and then you won't need to pay shipping.

    LR3 Break-In Period???

First is at 6 months or 7500 miles. Old school thought was to make a change soon after purchase, to "flush the bad bits out." This was more necessary when "breaking in an engine" really meant it. Times have changed... Of course, I changed mine at 1500 miles. Because I'm set in my ways...

    LR3 Voice Commands

The voice commands are pretty well documented. One missing item from the documentation, if I remember correctly, is that you can use the Navigation screen to add a voice/number tag for the factory fit phone (PTI) system... the "Add Voice" button in the UI... instead of doing it 100% by voice.

    LR3 Voice Commands

Your manual? You can start by saying "voice help", or by asking for help in a category: "notepad help", "radio help", "CD help", "navigation help", "phone help", etc. More details about specific system functions are in their respective manuals... the Audio System guide, the...

    Voice Commands

They didn't "remove commands just for that reason." You didn't buy it. I'm pretty sure the head unit's voice control system is a feature of the "Premium ICE" stereo, which is only available on HSE in North America. (You get some of the control features if you add Navigation... maybe...

Anyone know how to Flat Tow the LR3?

You can't two wheel tow. You need a flat bed tow truck... Land Rover Roadside Assistance or any decent tow service will know this. Welcome to modern AWD/4WD designs. There is no way to "disengage" everything related to the drive train. If you do, you will cause serious damage. Anyway...

    dvd installed in LR3?

No disadvantage other than clutter. I've seen a few similar installs... and the screens can be a lot bigger than the tiny headrests can hold. The headrests are probably the least popular in the LR3, due to their size and angle.

Anyone know how to Flat Tow the LR3?

Full trailer is the only option, jcegold. It really wouldn't be smart to do it any other way.

    dvd installed in LR3?

The biggest screen you can fit into the tiny LR3 headrest is probably 7" (4:3 ratio) for most manufacturers. carnut's screens look wide (16:10 ratio) from the picture. carnut, where did you place the DVD player unit? Glovebox? 2nd row cup holder area?

Whats does the tow package include?

If a prodigy brake controller can use the fairly generic Ford style connector under the dash, it doesn't really require much installation.

    LR3 NL Performance Chip/Module

Easy way to figure out a scam product: 1) Too good to be true. 2) Increases horsepower 'up to' claim.

    NON Bluetooth Phone Usage

Easy answer: No. The keypad is only for radio/CD controls if you don't have factory PTI. And the "dealer" kit PTI, which won't use the keypad/radio controls, is Bluetooth only.

    Phone connector interface

The Nokia/Land Rover PTI system does not offer that functionality. Not going to happen.

    Phone connector interface

Use search for more info. You need buy a specific phone cradle... but there are very, very few phones supported. You can check with your dealer for official North America availability... but the overseas PDF is pretty close. You can get it from the UK...

Sirius now available on new LR3's at factory

Be sure you are asking them to quote a retrofit of the factory Sirius SDARS option. The dealers around here are happy to install generic 3rd party Sirius or XM kits... that's easy and high profit. I never bothered seriously looking into a retrofit, so I don't have any pricing (even...
