active locking rear diff

toddjb122, that's on the brink of paranoia... door panels can be removed and replaced without impact. Personally, I've found 3rd party installers are generally more careful than the fine Land Rover techs. :smile: -

What's that big black tube under the truck?
If you have a leak in the air tank, you'll hear your air compressor turn on often.. and for far longer periods than usual. If the behavior hasn't changed, I doubt you have a leak. -

No, not the head unit... you pull off the plastic around the whole center console area... the stereo head unit is screwed in. That way you can access all the bits. -

If one key fob works, and the other one does not... either the key fob is broken or (doubtful) the vehicle has forgotten the fob's programming. Either way, it's not something you can "fix." If it's the fob, you need a new one. If it needs to be reprogrammed, you are stuck with the service... -

Yes, there is a (somewhat overpriced) LR PTI kit for this. It does not offer integrated controls into the stereo head unit, though. (Not like the factory only option really has much functions.... via Bluetooth... but at least you can see the incoming #.) But you can use car specific voice... -

It's not a North America part, so I doubt your LR parts department can order. Sorry. Worst case, call a UK based dealer's parts department. With the legendary reliability reputation of the Discovery in the US, expect your LR3 to drop in value at least 20% once applying. :smile: -

Swapping out Grills on LR3
LR3 and RRS share little exterior-wise. In other words, a grill designed for the RRS will not fit a LR3 and vice versa. Feel free to talk to a custom shop; they can make anything you want... for a price. :smile: -
