Me too and no issues in 3 years. One good thing about the 2010 was we got the iPod cable free and some of the stuff in the current vision package was standard on the lux back then. -

Volume level is not visible on the 2010s. The newer UI in 2012 added this capability. -

Electrical Issues
I have never experienced the dimming issue and I even looked for it when I initially bought my truck. I even have an aftermarket stereo installed with a high wattage amp connected to the battery. That said, I have HIDs so maybe it's not as susceptible given the extra ballast.
