Rich, I use access mode a lot and haven't seen any signs of tire rub since I moved the wires. Example; I use access mode when backing into my garage. And, stay in access mode when leaving. My driveway seems fairly steep, a friends honda scraped when parking in my driveway. Pic -

Boaz, Have you thought about removing the heat sheild around the spare? This might work without deflating. I have been driving without mine for over a month and no problems. But, my spare is a dounut(?) spare. Pic -
MT/R 19 finally here??
I have had some rubbing from the front left wheel and I have LR wheels with Zeons. The rubbing was on the wire harness when turning hard left. I recently moved the wire harness higher up, but I haven't checked to see if that worked. -

I had mine replaced and I didn't even ask for it. There was nothing wrong with mine and I perferred the feel of the older one. This new one feels like pig skin or football leather. -

Todd is right. But, the downside is that if you have to leave the LR3 for a day or two, means two trips to the dealer. Maybe best to wait for a list of problems.
