Why? the link and discussion are 100% relevant.

The posting I was referring to was spam for watches.

Thanks moderator for removing that post.

Sorry to the OP,my comment was not toward you or this thread.

Not in the front. Yes in the rear, but it may depend on the type of chain you use. You will rub pretty good if you compress your suspension though. If you can go to off road height and keep below 30mph, it would be best.

My LR dealer wants $700.00 for the LR Chains and I am wondering why they would cost so much more than other snow chains. Are they the only ones you can use or will others fit without any clearance issues? $700.00 for two chains seems rediculous!

Rud 4x4 chains were my answer to this one. I believe they are lower profile than
others. Still would'nt fit them on the fronts though.

Rud's are the best chains I've ever seen, but I don't have any personal experience with chains on my LR3, so I am of little help on this topic.

The chains that LR offers are RUD chains. If you look online you can buy a set of four RUD's for much less than half of the $700.00 the dealer wants for two. That is why I was wondering if there is something special about the set LR offers.
