Why the need to calibrate initially if the suspension is already set to the standard setting?
Also, doesn't dropping to #3 cause some issues since your alignment may not be ideal?
Cheers!
Does anyone know whether the GAP IDtool allows you to disable the dreaded 30mph auto lower feature from offroad mode? and if so, how?? I can't seem to find it in the menu.
Yea, I'm REALLY hoping I can get out there this Fall to explore some more. I haven't even scratched the surface out there. Wish my kids were a little older so I could take them.
I've only driven through Zion so I haven't had a chance to explore it yet but until then, the most spectacular place for me has been the start of the White Rim trail in Canyonlands national park. It is absolutely spectacular and no picture will ever do it justice.
Hi David,
I've been exploring for the past 13 years and I've learning that my preference is for remote areas, some that don't have a name and with my crappy memory I'll never find again.
That being said, I've been to most of the obvious ones multiple times...
Death Valley...
What subject matter do you teach?
Thanks for the invite. Perhaps one day I'll stop by to say "Hi'. I'm not big on HH SVRA. My preference is more for exploring remote areas versus tackling an obstacle(s).
This is driving me nuts! I called AB, contacted Britpart and everyone is telling me the unit is not available yet for the LR4 but here you are posting it. Good for you, but GAP is pissing me off. Either they need to release the damn product already or stop fucking over customers who have been...
To me the most important features of the IIDtool is the ability to raise the suspension settings and clear LR specific faults. Two things "automatic" doesn't do.
cruising at a constant 55 sure...as soon as your drive 70-90mph or accelerate at full throttle your mileage will drop to 17-19. I get 16.5 regularly in mixed city and highway driving.
I wish I had seen this install before I did mine. I ended up mounting the ECU near the traxide unit.
Anyway...someone asked "why"?
To run a fridge in the back off of a second battery so there's no risk of running the main battery down to the point you can't start in the morning when you're out...
