    Not everyone has the equipment and tools to install an engine. Long block; heads already installed. Short block; no heads. New engine from JLR is stripped , except for the coolant pump and oil cooler.

    In 2011 there was a service bulletin to replace the oil restrictor. It is located in the rear of the heads. Not sure if this is the part you need. LR011688.

    Sorry, I don't have the o-ring specs. But, I do have one I can mail to you for free. Best to see if there's actually fuel in the pipes going to the charcoal cannister.

    Change the key fob battery. The immobilizer antenna is at the bottom right of the steering column. If you're having key fob issues. Hold the key fob up against the antenna and crank the vehicle.

    Part 9039 is the fuel cap. On the bottom, there's the evap vent hose that snaps onto the cap. This evap vent hose is exposed to raw fuel.     Check the right side sunroof drain. There's a rubber elbow that deteriorates and allows water in the car.

    Pollen filter is getting wet. The windshield wiper cowl cover should fit flush against the glass. That's where the water is coming in at.

    They need to look at the charcoal cannister. The fuel tank has an internal vapor hose. If the o-ring is damaged, raw fuel will get sucked into the charcoal cannister.

    Actually, true. Engineers required that the air filters should last a certain amount of mileage. Their goals were met with the dual air filters.

    The fuel tank cap deteriorates from the ethanol fuels. This can cause the fuel line to detach from the cap. I've seen it many times. Usually from people that ignore the first signs of a fuel smell.

    Not a gasket. Just sound insulation. Take a pair of pliers and pull away the section around the PCV diaphragm.
