    Just mounted Compo's and new tires after 3 years of ownership and frustration with the 19"s. Wish I hadn't waited so long. Waiting for snow to melt off most of my local trails but did a lap on the Switzerland Trail yesterday.

    +1 on the Compo's. I was frustrated enough with the 19" wheels and poor tire options. Pulled the trigger on 5 Compomotive's and Toyo Open Country AT's. First off ride on them yesterday and all good! It's a pricey endeavor but you'll be happy you did it. Now to just sell my 19's and tires...

    manoftast, They are the standard OEM seven spoke with the split in the spoke. I'll shoot a pick of them tomorrow for you. mounted with Cooper Zeon's and have studless Toyo's with only a few thousand miles on them.

    I get the obvious comparison of the D5 and the Explorer aesthetics. But in my opinion the Explorer is a much better looking vehicle. Wider stance, bigger and more rugged looking. I'll be keeping my 2011 LR4 going for many miles.
