    I didn't lube it but there was coolant in the hole so hopefully it will be fine. The old pipe looked just fine to me, but I wouldn't have known that w/out replacing it. Unless there was a weak point unseen I'd guess it had at least 20k left on it but who knows.

    I'd hit that caliper bracket with an angle grinder. Those silver rims look good on the LR3 with the Land Rover center caps. But if the BMW that they came from weighs less than the LR4 I wouldn't put them on or I wouldn't carry a full load.

    No, he emailed and gave the $440 cost with a picture of the leaky rad. I approved it and didn't hear about being charged standby time. Aside from that, they didn't get all the parts needed so now I have a new eta for the 14th. Its been a long time since I dropped it off on the 27th of last month.
