To black the grill or not to black the grill?
Black looks good. You could always invest in a replacement grill that's black giving you the option to switch back at some point if you decide you didn't like it. Maybe find one at a junk yard or someplace. A matt finish is probably a good idea if you expect to get it scratched and banged up... -

The obligatory "Show off your LR3' thread
I noticed that the TP light would come on when it was cold or when it was raining. I had it in for a check-up before driving for Christmas and turns out that the sensor module was bad and needed to be replaced. Apparently it's not that uncommon. That might be the issue for you as well. Mine... -

Problems With the LR3
Another trip to the dealership on Friday to have my LR3 checked out. Discovered that the tire pressure (TP) sensor had a bad module and needed to be replaced. So far, both differentials, the TP module, leak from the sunroof tubes, what else? Still, great vehicle to drive! -

I bought mine used from a LR dealership and worked out a discount on the price with them. As for brand new in the US, I asked at a dealership in Santa Fe and they did not but were willing to price negotiate that in. The problem in your area (CO, NM, etc) is the high demand for those vehicles...- whydahdvr

Yes, I looked into it and it's no more than a military discount here in the US. I don't remember the exact figure but no more than 10% sticks in my mind. I contacted Land Rover directly from their website while I was deployed to find out the story. This is the point of contact I got. Nice...- whydahdvr

HSE Factory 19" Wheels Tires OEM Rims
I'm in the Boston area but get down to central NJ too. I might be interested, but really for the rims rather than the tires as I want a set for snow or off-road. I have the same vehicle - a 2008 LR3 HSE. $750 is a bit steep for me though. Where are located in PA? -

Problems With the LR3
Just had my 2008 LR3 HSE in for some light's installed and discovered that the rear diff needed to be replaced. This is on top of the front diff having been replaced about a month ago. Fortunately both are under warranty but strange to have both differentials need to be replaced at 33k miles. -

Parking lot protection
I'll try parking it higher. The only thing is my wife is pretty short and she complains about climbing into my truck as it is. The LR is good for her but she still prefers the lower access height level. So, gotta deal with a midget! :-) -

I concur with Thorgal. It would be great if LR events and rides were available on the East Coast. It's a tad bit of a drive to the Southwest for a trail ride, even as good as they are. Oh well. -
