OK. Checked with my service manager at my dealership. He ran my VIN (for a 2008 LR3 HSE) and there are no open or pending recall notices for my LR3. I would venture to say that may be the case for our LR's in the listed time period. But it would be good to verify with other sources for other... -

HELP! power window problem

Extended Warranties
That does seem totally backwards. I'm almost at 40k miles right now and still have until JAN 2012 and 50k miles before the factory warranty expires. It seems odd that out of warranty would be cheaper than in warranty. Did Dana at Ziegler give any guidance on price above 40k miles? Thanks! -

When I bought my LR3 from the dealership I asked about extended warranty's. They're offering one around $4500 that would extend for another 3 years/50k miles (7yr/100k). They claimed it mirrors the LR warranty exactly, no deductible, etc. However, that's a chunk of $$$$ and the Ford ESP seems... -

Interesting. Could use longer electric range. But that electricity comes from somewhere, usually coal, gas, or oil fired plants so not sure just how environmental that is. Interesting idea. I would rather see a propane of LG/natural gas motor and tank system and see how that performs. Just... -
