Wiper blade auto cup holder snow fill. Anyone?
Ha, I wish I had snow but I do that all the time but when its raining. I drive with the window down quite often and usually at start up to clean the window, I flip water all over my shirt sleeve and down the door panel.. oh well!- goinsurfin

Cooper Zeon LTZ Off-Road tires on Stock 19" Wheels
I just bought a set last week. 2 shops I called had no problem finding them. As for size, I went with 2555519 for my LR3 since Im mostly on the road. I like them alot. Also a good look too.. I had the LTZs installed Friday and so far, I drove over 200 miles on them. The minimal tire sound is very tolerable on highway (70mph) and on gravel/dirt roads they are very steady. I see your point. How many miles do you have on the LR3 with the LTZ tires? How far alon did you notice and increase in noise? I'm assuming you too have 19" wheels on both 3/4? Aside from the 19", if I go with 18" what is the choice tire other than BFG AT? Should I also look at the LTZ 18"...- goinsurfin

As for the tires, I'd do some research and make sure that Cooper has worked through the sidewall cracking issues that the Zeons were prone to. If you can check that box, then I'd give them a thumbs up; I ran them for about a year myself. I haven't seen the Generals in-person but they pass the...- goinsurfin

Every so often I hear a sound, not so much a grinding sound but something close to that when from start, I turn onto another street. I'm about to order a set of 4 but for $1179 installed locally. How are your LTZ tires working out for you so far? Any issues with wear, noise, cracks, etc? I've had 2 sets of ATRs and now looking for something with a bit more tread even though I'm not on trails that often. Thanks- goinsurfin

controls on steering wheel acting weird
HA, that recently happened to mine too. Press the volume and station changes.. I mentioned it to my mechanic and he said leave it unless i want to pull the entire radio unit out and mess with the wires in the steering wheel. $$$$. For me, its fine as is.- goinsurfin

How to brighten up the hood logo?
I replaced both front and rear 06 decals with 07 (silver) but had a shop install them for me. I'm sure its not that difficult to do. Looks clean and no sign of peeling at all..- goinsurfin

Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires are discontinued.
Thats too bad b/c I've had nothing but great luck with 2 sets of ATRs on my 19" wheels. I think that I'll try the LTZs with but on 18" wheels now.- goinsurfin

How long do you plan on keeping your LR3?
I'm up to 107k with my 2006. I dropped it off for an oil change/tire rotate and to get the mirror/power seat adjustments checked out. Thanks for the reply. I checked my fuses and if i checked correctly, they were fine. But since I'm taking it in Thurs for a oil change, I'll have the guy double check and hope its just the fuses that puts everything back on track. Thanks bostonian!- goinsurfin

Both mirrors and seats just stopped working
Anyone have this issue on 05,06,07 LR3s?? A week back i noticed that both my mirrors no longer tilt down in reverse and cannot be adjusted and the seats will not adjust either. I checked the fuses and they look ok. Everything else is working as it should..new alternator in Feb and new battery...- goinsurfin
