Has anyone on this board gotten much more than 25k out of their stock tires? I just replaced my originals at 23k just last month. They probably could have gone a bit more, but definitely not capable for doing anything other than driving to the mall in the summer time. -

Even if he gets another pair for off-roading and even if the pair he has ride well... they will still only last 20k-25k miles, which is pretty crappy regardless. -

Only about 20k miles! I would suggest selling them to somebody while they are new, and then using that money to get better tires. I would guess most people here will suggest the same thing. -

Congrats and welcome! I have the black on black and love it! I'm jealous of your rear locker, though! If you've never owned a black vehicle be sure to read up about taking care of one... it's a lot of work, but it's a pleasure to clean such a beautiful vehicle ;) -

I have Motionx also, but I definitely prefer Gaia. They are both a bit ugly/clumsy, but Gaia gets the job done. One pro tip: if you're downloading maps in Gaia GPS, be sure to set the "Max Zoom" slider to its highest setting so that you can zoom in to a decent level on the topo map when you... -

I have an iPhone and I just use an app named Gaia GPS[1]. It lets you download and cache a pretty good amount of map (so that you can use it where you don't have a data connection), and it only costs $2.99. You can also upload your trips and photos from the trip to EveryTrail[2]. It's not a... -

Thanks J.D. My original post was about a trip with the dealer (which I wasn't worried about). I won't be able to make that trip, so I am thinking about meeting up for the Solihull Society National Rally. I think it will be a bit more hardcore than the dealer trip. -

I was changing my oil last week (on my 06 LR3 SE w/ 25k miles) and I noticed that my power steering is exactly on the minimum fill line. I don't know how long it has been this way as this is the first time I've really looked at it. I don't suspect there is a leak because it hasn't moved at all... -
