    Repeatable Vibration Issues

Good thought, but already replaced lol. That doesn't rule out steering rack I guess.

    Repeatable Vibration Issues

It goes away under heavy acceleration, but stays with maintenance throttle. I think the mounts are just a separate issue (or maybe I am a hypochondriac when it comes this this truck)

    Repeatable Vibration Issues

I reused the rotors, but wheel bearings are brand new. Yes, sir! Cleaned and applied some antiseize. Good suggestion! I was just listing what has been done so far in the event someone smarter than me could point it out. I've narrowed it down the the front. It is felt in the steering wheel...

    Repeatable Vibration Issues

So, I am getting vibration in the steering wheel. Sometimes it starts around 30mph, but most certainly appears at 50mph and does not go away. If I put the transmission in neutral, the vibration stays--speed dependent and not RPM dependent. However, I do not feel it while accelerating. This did...

    Heated windshield not working

If I remember right, the ribbon harness is behind the driver side a pillar. Maybe it was not reattached when the windshield was replaced. I also remember reading that the 30A fuses (there are two) should be upgraded to 40A.

    Spare Wheel Protector, from RLD

I would be interested depending on the design. I like the idea of the Jerry can holder from the post above. If you were designing a flat "skid plate" design that spanned the frame--and had an integrated heat shield on the back side--i am game!

    Fuel D534 wheels

I'm with you brother. An upsized 20" tire would allow you to do all of that (depending how deep the sand is) and would give you more aftermarket wheel choices. The beauty of the compos and tuffants are that you need no spacers, nor caliper grinding, to make them fit; and you have the benefit of...

    Fuel D534 wheels

Guess it depends what style you like, and what purpose you have for your vehicle. We have 17" fuel D689 rims on our 4runner, and i have tuffant steelies on the LR4. I like both rim types, and prefer the steel wheels on the LR4. I do not think you need spacers with the fuel rims. I think it is...

    Spare Wheel Protector, from RLD

Here you go: https://www.4x4overlander.com/product/anti-theft-discovery-34-spare-wheel-protector/ Re relocation to the roof: I would avoid adding weight unnecessarily to the roof. Unless you are going to add an auxiliary fuel tank, or custom build a Jerry can holder (post #21...

    2011 LR4 Misfire/rough idle

What do the LTFT and STFTs say when you experience the misfire? Looks like you have addressed fuel and spark. If may be time to think through air / oxygen. The MAF has a built in intake air temperature sensor. When if gets cold, the air should be more dense at start up before the engine heats...

    Rhino / ox hitch option

I'm sure it is just extra bracing, but wouldn't recommend going without. Can you drop your spare, install hook plate, deflate spare a little and reinstall?

    Windshield washer pumps

The tpms antenna mounts to the fender splash shield within each wheel well. There are two plastic rivets with Phillips heads that attach them. On the front, the are mounted on the inner portion closest to the front bumper.

    2011 LR4 Misfire/rough idle

My rover did that too. One day had a bad misfire and, after clearing codes and messing with the harness, it ran well again for about a week. Then, the misfire returned. I did the plugs first. Then, the coils--misfire still there. Finally, replaced the injectors and that is what solved it. To be...

    2011 LR4 Misfire/rough idle

All great advice. I will tell you, from my own journey, that my #3 and #5 misfire was not fixed until I replaced the injectors. All spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced, but the new injectors solved the problem. Lrbritishparts on eBay has some great deals on injectors, ~$140 for bosch...

    Metal idler pulley

I saw @Fuji4 talked about a metal idler pulley in his super charger thread. For anyone that is interested, British parts of Utah offers one. I would get it, but I have other repairs to make. Enjoy! https://www.ebay.com/itm/253948829265

    Fan clutch

I really appreciate your input. Unfortunately, it was the first thing I replaced when I bought the truck. It is definitely a feeling and not a sound... I'm going to trouble a little today, but already made an appointment with my Indy for next week, in the event I still can't figure it out.

    "Bucking" during acceleration

    Hummer EV

https://www.gmc.com/electric-truck/hummer-ev This came up on my Google feed. I had not seen it before. Seems to have some good off road capability. -crab walk mode -extract mode -35" tires -full skids -under body cameras -air suspension It's just not my cup of tea in the looks...

2016 LR4 SCV6 - Block heater, now with video of location.

    Fan clutch

When accelerating from a stop, I get a high pitched whine (intermittent) and a weird vibration at partial throttle. Accelerating and coasting there is not vibration. I originally thought torque converter shudder or cv axle. I think that it is drivetrain related. Because they were due, I...

    Fan clutch

Thinking that my cooling fan assembly needs to be replaced. I scoured Google and the forums but have not found a definitive answer on my problem. Without all of the other harmonic symptoms, what would the experts say if the fan only moves about 1"-2" (when vehicle has sat overnight) and I try...

    Speedometer recalibration with IID Tool

Thank you for this! It's on my to-do list as well. I'm sure I messed up the settings the first time. I am so grateful for the wealth of knowledge contained on this forum and its members

    LR4 compressor guard options?

@djkaosone did you have to pay import duties on the parts? I once bought an item on eBay that came from Israel. 30 days later, I received a bill for the duty fees

    Gas tank fuel capacity.

Yes, because the measured ratio is lean. The ecu then adds fuel to make up for the difference between the observed ratio and optimal--hence, the positive addition of fuel.
