brush in with brush bar
ARGH ! I feel your pain I didnt admit to this earlier but I severely cross threaded one of mine on installation... and I think if I ever tried to undo it, same thing would happen. Probably a bumper off fix unless you can sneak / snake a nut up there on the rear of the frame member. -

nope - no way w/ bumper on unfortunately I did it on mine... just dont drill the holes TOO HIGH... if anything you want to shoot low. So maybe drill them 5-10 mm LOWER than it says... because its better to have the extra "hole" on the bottom side where you cant see it than the top side where... -

Trouble Starting - no codes - dealer can't figure it out!
sounds like crank position sensor which is what happened to my old 2003 D2 -- not sure how LR3 works but they are intermittent when they fail sometimes resulting in crank but no start or start and then die. might be worth asking -
