Decals???
Probably kinda late to kick in here. I don't care much for the wind shield decal idea. It's too "yo this be ma racin' team yo" looking for me. Wind shield banners are for racers and wannabe's. Don't mean to offend but you did ask for opinions. I did really like the globe decals though.- Roverhound

Tire size options for my 96 disco
If you go to the B.F.Goodrich web site and get the specs on thier MT or AT tires. They will pop up a pdf file that gives you tire sizes and optimal wheel widths. I would think no matter what brand you get the information would transfer.- Roverhound

Head Gasket Question
Condensation from the exhaust is a by-product of combustion. What you describe doesn't sound like a head gasket. You will notice a sweetish smell if antifreeze is blowing out your exhaust. Check your oil for discoloration. If antifreeze is mixing with it it will appear milky and like roverchic...- Roverhound

Rear Diff worries.
The d2 came with magnetic plugs. You could source those. Water in the diff will not turn the oil amber, it will look milky so it doesn't sound like that. Could be the oil was just old. Whatever weight you use, I would stick to synthetic.- Roverhound

What year is your Disco? Some wear is to be expected in the differentials. Do you hear any gear whine? Do you have traction control? That will cause extra wear on the diffs which is a good reason to add a center diff lock if you have a d2. It'll cut down on the amount that traction control is...- Roverhound

Sergei, I cant agree with you more about invader Zim. Me and the kids would wait for Sunday to come so we could watch it. One of the funniest and darkest cartoons to come out in a long time. Diff and Tcase service
Land Rover specifies 75W90 for diffs and transfer case, I use Mobil 1 synthetic in mine. The carpet trick is a good idea as is the kerosene pump for the t-case. It's pretty tight under there. Tire preferance
I have the BFG AT's and like em a lot. Does it snow where you're at? Mud tires aren't the greatest in snow unless you have them siped. I have 235/85-16's on a 2000 d2.- Roverhound
