What does SD mean

Does SD mean Special Duty or Severe Duty or something else completly?

Normally in the LR community, SD would be Stripped Down model Not that this is a bad thing, owning a Rover in any form is still a Rover.

Noup only on the Range Rover line there where HSE and aditional Callaway HSE.
