I am currently double checking with their customer support: NOCO Genius 10AMP supposedly the best charger around. That said I did manage to kill an H8 AGM battery with it trying the desulfurization and repair on it since capacity was sort of failing after a little over a year- it was an Odyssey...- BendRover123

The LR4 has a battery setting that needs to be changed to AGM since it requires 0.3 or more Volts for charging. The LR3 does not have the setting so your essentially stuck with the lead acids batteries unless you want them to die prematurely. It's just chemistry an poor charging design by Landrover.- BendRover123

Increase mileage on LR3
I think at this point everyone driving an LR3 has over 100,000mi. Mine used to get ~27MPG driving highway (driving like 1000mi) and 14MPG around town. Rhino / ox hitch option
The guy should have probably been able to return this ox hitch unit to the manufacturer. To me it certainly looks like a good recall opportunity especially if the weld surfaces weren't properly prepared prior to welding or when the welder didn't do a good job. Someone had posted a rerouting those rear heater lines (used when you have the 7seat configuration car). It was pretty easy I used two 6' heated hose lines and clamped them to the existing junctions on the aluminum tubes. LR3 command shift stopped working

Those are adjustable rods for the height sensors front and back. It lifts the car 2.5" higher than normal mode operation while the height setting is set to normal. Ok issue solved. There was a small plastic strip that came of the liner (due to it rubbing through to the rear AC lines). No issue with bearings etc. I cut off that plastic strip hanging and interfering with the tire, sounds gone! Well in addition I did a complete deflate reset air strut...- BendRover123

High Output Alternator for LR3
