    Thanks Doug for confirming, yeah i think without regular external charging the battery every couple months i don't think the capacity on mine holds. I will keep doing the same i also installed an H8, the original stock size was H7 i believe.

    Quick question on battery change do I need to run a BMS reset? Also AGM batteries need 0.5Volt roughly higher Voltage for charging than say Gel, or Regular Lead Acid Batteries, can the LR3 charge AGM batteries reliably? Is it designed and are factory batteries AGM or are they regular batteries?

    I installed one from quality power: Item #: 11206-240A So far so good, you do have to swap the pulley from the OEM original with the one they give you with the quality power alternator that won't fit.

    General photo and after reading this thread i did thank you for the suggestion, i havent installed it yet but will take a picture once its done. I re-routed the current one slightly back in the engine bay with a pneumatic valve to tun on or off for wading.

    Then there is also the front differential vent hose and this seems to be the one that shows up next to the expansion tank in the engine compartment. this would be more inbetween the wheels, unless those those two vents are actually connected to the same front vent hose?

    I think another way to go about testing the engine is actually pressurizing the cooling system on the block and leaving the pressure on for say 1 week. Then check for leaks.
