Is there a proper winter tire that fits the LR3 HSE 19" rims? What about the 18's?
Land Rover has "approved" the Goodyear Ultragrip in the 255/55R19 size. As for the 18's, they recommend to install 235/65R18 Dunlop Wintersport M3. Per Bulletin SGI05-11. I haven't been able to find any proper sized off-road or winter dedicated tires for the 18's. It's a real pisser. -
05 Fuel Tank Recall - Did you get a full tank of gas?
Land Rover gives the dealer the option of spending $100 towards the customer when the recall is performed, could be fuel, food,flowers, whatever. It is up to the dealer. -
Wrangler HP tread life
HP = JUNK. Get something else you like now and put the HP's back on later. The only way you could get 30k is if you were driving on fluffy pink clouds. Back in reality, you will wear them out far before 30k. That's what I'm going to do when my car comes in! -

Colt, I don't know who your dealer is, and don't want to know, but delaers switched to the new order system in September. The new system may be POS (really, that is the name of it), but it has been operational since then. The two mouldings you mention are available thru LRNA when I checked this... -
how to determine build date by VIN?
Ask your dealer to run a DDW, and give you the dispatch date. As I understand, that is the date it left the plant. -
Wheel Lock nuts? Factory Repair CD? B/up camera, DVD & Wiring
VUB504120 is the correct part # for LR3, RRS and 06-up Range Rover. The only caveat (sp?) is that early '05 LR3 had black lugs, and the locking is only available in silver. As of this morning LRNA had at least 45 sets in warehouse. -
