I don't replace the washer every oil change but if you wipe all the oil off the pan betcha dollars to doughnut the oil is migrating to this point. Probably leaking from the rocker covers, power steering pump, and everywhere else but not the plug. -

What relay is missing? Is it the CC disable relay?
Don't know if it is anything like a 95 I don't think so but.... You should have test that will test the pump and the diaphram. Ie: in a 95 undo ecu . Looking at the harness short pins 1 and ten with a fusible link and then tie pin 6 to ground with a fusible link and pin 7 to ground with fusible... -

parting out a 1998 land rover discovery
Looks like a lot of the parts would fit my 95. I would like a rear bumper end cap (passenger side) and cruise ecu. Lots of spare parts would be nice. -

'95 disco not turning over!!
Radio asking for code because the battery power isn't nada. With a charged battery volt meter across it should read 12.6 volts. Less than this say 10 or 11 volts cell is dead. Jump starting vehicles with cell open is taking alot of power from donor vehicle and the open cell acts like a big... -

Wet passenger's side floorboard...need help with ideas!
Did it rain or did you wash the truck? If it rains or I wash my 95 discovery my carpet pass enger carpet gets wet. I wonder if it's because the vent filters on the firewall under the windshield shrunk and deteriorated. I think mine is dripping thru the vent system. Run water hose on the pass... -

Yeah and absolutely never ever buy alternators nor any other parts( as far as I'm concerned) from world parts as they are junk. And please to remember an open is just as bad as short. Best alternator I've found was a bosch. And who cares about a warranty they're for people that buy junk. So... -

Could be that the rebuild was short lived. If the battery or the circuit is going open that will fry an alternator as well. Check to make sure that all charging circuit connections are tight and that includes battery terminals. Best to replace the battery at the time the altenator is... -

If you went 80 miles after the rebalancing and then it started shaking again I would be inclined to suspect the belts in the tires are bad or the wheels are not staying centered. What tires did you buy? -

Wow now I know what II RC means I left a post asking about abbreviations in the chat. PS use petrolium jelly on those battery terminals. It keeps them from corrosion a little tip I learned from my rover manual . Make sure not to use oil!!! Petrolium jelly only!!!!!! -

Good for you mike!!!! You should remember that you have a very capable machine. A 96 with low mileage. Not every one has one so you should take care of it. Plenty of things to do preventive maintenance wise. -
