Does Air suspension need to be in Offroad mode for Hoisting jack?
odd.. umbertob -... so if you do as the manual says lock parking brake and raise to offroad height and use normal single tire jack the suspension does lock. however I have never gotten it to work at the shops when we use normal 2-3 ton jacks or lifts. when you use factory jack, actually stops... -

LR4 Steering Sounds
New TSB - different platform RR 2012 - but similar issue: LTB00111NAS3 lack of lubrication at pinion seal causing noise at steering... PowerSteering flush - to get lubrication again. I'm not really hopeful but we'll see.... -

don't worry all LR3/4's make that noise... Just turn the radio up - oh and CPO doesn't cover squeaks and rattles (because Ujoints and other mechanical parts don't squeak apparently) - Trim pieces, door seals, brakes, rotors, plastic body panels, dash, plastic parts - yeah I get those aren't... -

"AirBag Suprise for Lunch" - Exactly why i didn't attempt to locate the sound myself, rethinking that now though. (honestly looks relatively easy and could get the hook took at local parts store) - just would prefer not getting "airbagged" - or the famous - "Non Certified techs touched... -

Damn... Didn't even bug him Ubob is quick! This TSB won't fix. It has already been done.. This was done in Aug/Sept. I'll have to call dealership tomorrow... That is down in the engine compartment not the steering wheel... UGH.... This video was on the way to the dealership Wed Dec 21... -

Anyone else getting this sound from their steering wheel / column? Dealer can't hear it as it seems to be too intermittent for them... They did however reluctantly replace some upper column parts and that didn't change anything with the sound... Their Initial advice - Turn the Radio up...
