I've ready about the shoe polish trick before...I may just give that a try. What's the worst that can happen?

    Warranty coverage issues

In no particular order: - Sunroof rail cracks - Steering wheel falling apart - Transmission reflash - Bushings and lower control arms - pay for new tires, battery and alignment - sunroof drains - gas tank recall - fading plastic exterior Good luck getting them to warranty your...

Water pours out when I open door

Ok, so none of the holes appear to be clogged (confirmed with coat hangar, then running water). Door drain normal. Now what?

Water pours out when I open door

Yeah, I knew it wasn't normal because none of the other doors has the problem. How would one clean the door drains, furthermore, where are they?

Water pours out when I open door

Does anyone's feet get wet when they open their door after a long rain? Without exception, after a long rain if I open the front pax door, a crap-ton of water pours out of the door seal. None of the water ever gets in...guess I just jinxed myself

    Cracked Dash

Sorry KW, I've not had that problem, however, I have seen dashs for sale on ebay. Just do a search for LR3 and look through all the auctions. You might get lucky. I feel your pain, it's tough to spend so much money on a vehicle that looks like crap after 5 years regardless how much...

Strange issue with the sunroof & side windows

I've had the window problem, but it was on the close function. Turned out to be a bad sensor in the window regulator that was to be activated so as to not pinch one's fingers or hand. The only problems I've had with the sunroof is: 1. Not opening at all. Corrected by replacing an ecu 2...

    Extended Warranty

You're right, these companies are out to make a profit. Think of it as insurance for the mechanical wellbeing of your LR3. If you never need it, great, but if you do, you'll be glad you had it. As an aside, I was at my dealer last week and was getting my keys from the service tech who just...

    Tire Advice

I have some really nice highway tires, anything was better than the GY POS! However, what I have now is terrible offroad. Seems like lots of dudes are going with the coopers, but I can't find then in a decent size or price. The Nittos can be had in the 285/60 for about 160ish where I live.

Wow, SH Bldr! Wonder what this would do for us that have extended warranties?

    Tire Advice

How many miles did you get out of your first set? How many are on your current? I'm looking at getting a set of 285/60/18 Grapplers. Thanks in advance, Don

    Fading Plastic

For those of you who care, what are you doing to bring back the fading black plastic on your LR3? Looking for a long term solution, not an every weekend application. Yes, I read this http://www.landroversonly.com/forums/f59/black-plastic-trim-discovery-27011/ , but not sure how to heat up...

Wet Rear (dare you to read on)

Nope, not transporting water either. Maybe one of my kids poured a water bottle down the side vent or something. I'm waiting for another hard rain to see if it happens again. The dealer claimed to have put it their car wash for 30 min and noted no leaks...

Wet Rear (dare you to read on)

That's a good thought, however, I do not have rear A/C. The dealer says that the plastic fender molding is leaking through the attachment points, but that it's not getting on the carpet-even though the carpet was wet when I brought it to the dealership...

Wet Rear (dare you to read on)

Ok, now that I got ya... I was opening the left side access panel to store my tow bar only to find water collecting and the carpet soaking wet. Has anyone else experienced this? I took the car to the dealer and they couldn't find anything . In fact they said there aren't any drains going...

    Headliner, already?

So I was putting the 3rd row seats up today and just happen to look up for some reason. What I saw was very surprising. I noticed my headliner starting to give. It has started to sag in one of the corners near the sun roof. The more things change the more they stay the same I guess...

    On Line Vendor Feedback

I purchased the 3rd row all weather mat from dealerfit and they were great! Shipping was fast and the price was better than anywhere else. I've used roverconnection in the past when I owned a RR, they were equally good but the website and part ordering is a little cumbersome.

Any good trails near Atlanta, Georgia?

Just checked the state's USFS page, but seems most parks are closed until the end of the month. Does anyone know of any public use trails around the Atlanta area? Thanks in advance

    Who has powder coated rims?

I didn't expect it to be so cheap, guess I've gotten used to standard LR accessory pricing.
