I have a Zambezi silver LR3 and like the look of the black powder coated rims. for those of you that have them or have seen them, what is your impression of longevity? Do they scratch easy, if so can they be touched up?

Thanks in advance,

I off-road with several people that have them on an LR3 and to be honest they must hold up as I never seem to notice anything to cause me to look closer if that makes and sense.

I like the look, one of them has them on a silver LR3.

I like the powder coated look, but I know a lot of guys who just rattle can theirs in a matte black, so they can just retouch them after scuffing them up. I don't like the "all black" look personally so I just left my 18's in their standard finish.

I like mine, just make sure you get touch up paint from the company who did the
job for you. I went just flat black, no gloss. Easier to touch up after scratching them up.

Awesome, thanks for all the replies. What did most of you pay for the work?

I am planning to black out my 18" RRS rims thought about rattle can. Powder coating is so durable. The stuff holds up awsome. I was between flat black or a blue that matches the paint. Powder coating is cheap. you should be able to get all 4 done for 100 bucks I have had alot done for my Harley but never a set of rims.

I didn't expect it to be so cheap, guess I've gotten used to standard LR accessory pricing.
