Reputation for quiet - Not seeing it or rather....hearing it
Not sure if its the same, but I had mine in at 34k in april for a growling noise under vehicle when driving. Ended up being failed front axle support bearing and it was replaced under warranty. It drove me crazy and my wife acts like she couldn't hear it! -

Whre to buy oem foglights?
Thanks for the info...will have to wait to get my car back from the dealer first, as its in for laundry list of warranty items and 45k service. The dealer wants 275+ for the foglight and he tried telling me that was only for part and not labor. Told him just take care of those other stupid... -

Whre to buy oem foglights?
So I noticed as I was washing the car this weekend. That a rock must of flew up and shattered my foglight lense (have factory foglights mounted in the front bumper). Anyone know where I can buy a oem style light or am I forced to buy aftermarket and swap out both? -

Buying a LR3 or maybe a LR2
I average 19 highway and combined 17.4. Don't buy a land rover/ range rover for gas mileage though...buy it for its comfort, endless off road possibilities and styling. I had a sharp 2007 yukon denali before this and I don't miss that tank at all. Although I was getting 20-21 mpg with that -

Been working with LR on this via phone. What's the best way to convince my dealer to replace the pti module so it will accept the upgrade? Lr wants me to bring the car to dealer and have them call tech support which has been done already. Thank you for your help! -

so I'm in the midst of working with LRNA again on this. But I did pull my service report form when it was at the dealer. They put on there that the module was indeed a limited number that will not accept the upgrade and if I wanted it replaced per technical service LRNA that it would be $750... -

I'm going to try and fight it again today LRNA. I remember them saying my car was within that range, which it is, however the module was one of the old modules that wouldn't accept the upgrade. I'll keep you posted on this. -

Alarm trigger/ Swithch off
I know this is the RR forum, but I had a similiar problem in my LR3. Just once it has gone off without anyone around it at like 1am and freaked me out. That was 1.5 mos ago and hasn't happened since. Anyone know what this could have been?- huelsmma

Yes it is behind the radio and yes you will need both a male and female adaptor. I think I paid 10 bucks for them. I'll let you know where I got them from when I return home. -

I have a 2006 and I have had success with both of our blackberries using bluetooth. The only issue is with our vin # range, the module in the car was not setup for phone book transfer. -

Removable tow hitch issue
I ended up getting it in. The mechanism was kust being stubborn and wouldn't fully release. Now I just have to install the electrics I ordered online and follow the install on this site. -

Removable tow hitch issue
I am having a hell of a time putting the removable hitch into the lr3. I follow what the cars manual states and still seem to not get it in. It's like it won't allow it to fully release the lock to go in. Any suggestions? I've been towing for years with other trucks and here I feel silly. -

Catalytic Converter Ticking & Pinging
I actually noticed it in my 06 today as I left it running and opened the door to get something out of the back. But I,ve heard it before and thought nothing of it. My 08 Yukon did it as well but was also masked by the annoying fuel pump. -

I have 1 year still on my factory plus another 2 years after that on my 06'. We looked at the tourag's sibling in the porsche cayenne but decided against it. We have memory seats on her car and I have yet to use them but I guess that's what some look for -

Areas vary by pricing...in my case my factory warranty ends 2/2010 or 50k miles, then the extended goes till 75k. It wasn't worth it for me to spend another 8k on a 2007 vs 2006 when they had the same mileage. Although my wife is now looking at a 2007 LR3 or RR sport for her. -

Pretty sure if someone who originally ordered the se and selected most options they could have an hse (19" wheels, navigation, upgraded sound system, cool climate package, rear entertainment, etc). You might find a few differences still but I looked at hse vs se and the se was in much better... -
