Anyone have 3 car seats in 2nd row?

I have a 7 and 5 year old. We have at times had one of their friends in the car and I have used a third seat in the middle of the second row, even though there is no latch option for that middle seat. I realize some families don't have a choice and must have car seats in that third row. But in...

Valeo wiper blades let me down ,,,

Wish I could offer some advice. For me it took about 10 seconds culminating with the "click" noise as the wiper locked into the arm. (I do have the Chill blades, perhaps they are different .... )

    Roof Rack Conundrum

I faced a similar predicament. Wife, 7 and 5 year old boys and two siberian huskies. That left no room for any gear. I wanted a solution where the rack could come off when it wasn't needed. My preowned 2013 came with extended roof rails and I purchased the OEM Roof Rack Cross Bar Kit and Roof...

Landy dealership or non Landy dealership?

Out here where I live its become a status symbol and that kind of gets under my skin. Also, with all these new models (brand dilution in my opinion) they have priced the RR way above my means. Even if I had the means, I don't like it anymore. I always felt it was a luxury car that was designed...

Landy dealership or non Landy dealership?

I've been a Land Rover owner since 1995, this is my four purchase. I know most everyone at my local dealer; sales, service, even the mechanics. Its a classy operation, fitting of the Land Rover brand. However - and this is not news - they are not giving anything away over there (sales or...

    2013 Trade-Ins

Thankful every day I got my 13 Lux with the Black Pack and HD radio 15 months ago from a Mercedes dealer in DC for $51K. It was 6 months old with 12K miles and without a flaw. The dealer said it was traded in and just hit their website that day. I looked at the pictures, saw the car fax, gave...

    Cargo Liner 2015 LR4

The go-to online site for many forum users for OEM parts is Land Rover Rocklin. I've bought a few things from them and don't believe there's a better deal to be had on the web. http://landrover.niello.com/accessories.php?category=202

    LUX or HD?

I agree 1000% with Umberto. I too wanted the HD package when I searched for a 2013 preowned but jumped on a great deal for a LUX and couldn't be happier. I improved the tires and though I still wish I had the rear locker the car handles great on slick surfaces.

2 Year Service Sticker Shock. Just me?

Sure. They did rotate the tires (not listed) and performed a NY State inspection and forgot to charge me, though not for the "labor" to change the windshield sticker.

2 Year Service Sticker Shock. Just me?

I took my 2013 with 27k miles in for its 2 year service today and was under the impression that this one was covered. The last three Land Rovers I owned I kind of recall not having to reach for your wallet until the 4 year, 48K mile mark. MY dealer told me that practice changed after MY11 and...

    Trip computer

I have got down to 0 twice and below 10 miles remaining a few times and in those instances the bar gauge was in sync with the computer. I've concluded that when the trip computer miles to empty reaches 0 there are 1.5 gallons remaining in the tank.

Valeo wiper blades let me down ,,,

Update: Lots of rain, some sleet and snow here in the Northeast. The Trico blades (front and rear) have performed as I hoped, as good as the Valeo All Season (both run silent, no streaking). Because of the metal casing - you hear the click as they engage the arm and lock into place - I recommend...

Valeo wiper blades let me down ,,,

In July I posted that I switched from the OEM blades to the Valeo All Season and was very pleased. As I drove from NY to Stowe, VT, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (with my wife, two kids and two siberian husky pups on board) and was walloped with a foot of blinding snow, the plastic casing on...

    Winter/Snow Tire Conundrum

Just to follow up, I use the Nokian WRG2 (still available, though have been replaced by the G3) year round. I'm sacrificing wear for year round protection on wet roads. The tire shop swapped out the sensors and I told them they could keep the Contis. In my opinion you will notice the difference...

    Winter/Snow Tire Conundrum

I replaced the stock Conti's with Nokian WRG2 at the end of last winter so haven't yet experienced snow but what I can say is I felt the Conti's were outright dangerous on roads that were wet and not flat. I've had the Nokian's for 10 months now and I have not have not had any traction loss on...

How can you tell if an LR4 has the Vision Assist Package?

FWIW, when I began my search for a MY2013, the salesman at my local dealer told me its very rare to fine the Vision Assist on an HSE, or base model.

I wasn't happy with my OEM wiper blades and switched to the Valeo All Season Blade. They've been excellent for the 7 months I've had them. I've included a link from Amazon. Apologies if it won't open correctly. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CD8HH8/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Lr4 Mpg

The specs say the tank is 22.8 gallons. I got 20.6 in when the trip computer said 6 miles remaining. I'm thinking when the trip computer says 0 (or a flat line) you probably have about a gallon and a half remaining in the tank. I'm not sure how much of that the engine needs to keep running and...

    Lr4 Mpg

I have a heavy foot and when I do a combination of highway and local driving I usually get either side of 300 miles to a tank and its take between 19.5/20.5 gallons to fill up. As long as gas stations are plenty I like to let the miles remaining get just below 10. I'm guessing I get 15mpg ...

    Advice on Climate Control troubleshoot

Air blasted out cold today ... Will consider it solved and if it returns bring it in to the dealer. Absent of a service call, does anyone have any advice on how to tell if the A/C needs to be serviced. Finally warm around these parts and I've felt the air coming out of the vents has been less...

    What's with the evoques

Sounds good on paper but has that demographic ever been part of LR's base? Women out here driving LR's tend to have kids in the back. Slapping the Range Rover name on the hood when its anything but told me it was doomed for failure.
