    yes the engine does have a drain plug but all the oil will not drain out. the filter is under the engine cover in a canister form. the light has to be reset with factors sdd computer .

    ahhhh so i was some what right. thats way too much money for a reflash that takes about 5 min and no labor is involved and the fix for the rear is a new locking motor wich takes no longer than an hour or two to do . the locking diff is a bulletin issue .

    there are no batterys in the key fob. just make sure to place the key around the shifter surround if this happens again , sometimes it looses its sync

    you have to make sure you are jump starting it right this vehicle has a battery monitoring system with a built in relay/fuse on the cable and has to be reset with factory computer. and the parking brake can be released manually as well.

    what dealer did you take it to? I use to work for the Land Rover mission viejo store same company as the Newport Beach store. They only offer free loaners to customers who bought their vehicles there and its enterprise vehicles. unless the consider you a VIP custome (idk how the they do that)...

    your generic scanner is only reading the engine control module. you need to find out what your transfer box module is logging. thats why GOOD scanners are pricey.
