Bike rack + parking sensor
we are working on an algorithm that will train the back up sensor to the presence of the bike or bike rack, so that the rear parking sensor will only go off if it sees something other than the bike rack...... thanks !! Land Rover tech support.. -

i did ask, they said know unless they had it for an hour and could replicate the problem.....not stellar service imo...........but 25 bucks was worth a wasted hour or two......since i could fix it myself in 5 minutes or less........ -

yep scared the shitake out of me....all i could think of was the southwest airline passengers.....massive wind noise when that baby popped loose might be worth a little tug test on your own a-pillar trim piece, if it pops loose too easy, i would def recommend the new clips... nope... -

the rigth sided a-pillar trim piece, that sits along both side of the front windshield blew off from high cross winds while driving on sunday. snapped it back in and after a few miles did it again. Dealer states would have to replicate it to do a warranty repair. So, I went to parts and there... -

2011 LR4 HSE vs LUX package
Almost right, the little button is to lock the lr4 to unlock just grab the handle and pull, that way you can lock it without grabbing your key fob...pretty cool I must say -

go lux......i had a loaner without lux adn just wasnt the same........ lux seats are more comfortable......cool led headlights, keyless entry is nice, bluetooth phone is nice, cant remember all the other stuff, but i say it si totally worth it....the stuff you get with lux are not the things... -

remove the hot wire from the battery for a minute and then reconnect and try again.....it will reset the computetr -

Should I buy?
carbon frames are not desinged to have vertical stress forces in the middle of the top tube.....my local dealer has seen carbon frames damaged in bike racks, and it aint coverred by frame warranty.....so highly recommend a platform style rack that grabs the wheels not the top tube for a carbon... -

one of the thule t2 models can use a 2 bike add on, i have it, but dont put it on until i need to carry 4 bikes, other wise just use the 2 bike version... major advantage of the thule is you can open the upper and lower rear door of the lr4 with the bikes on the rack.....b/c of the t2 simple... -

Thule t2 best bike rack I have ever owned, by a large margin.....so fast to get a bike or bikes on and off...no sway, fits any frame, very stable....can have bikes in rack and open both rear doors with the tilt down feature.....one should never let a bike rack touch carbon frames.... -

i had a loaner and the difference in light output from the non hid loaner to my set up above is very significant.........it seems like nearly 100% more light, and a much nicer whiter light as compared to the loaner... -

i have the 2011 lux so i have the factory hids, did the extreme high beam upgrade, and the fogs per the part numbers listed by the count laz......and i love the high beams as they now get way out there, as I did this a while back, just did the upgrading the fogs and def gives them more... -

nervous nilly isn't so bad of a name.....Laszlo is usually a very helpful forum poster, and he makes a good point as usual......if you are so anxious about reliability issue of the lr4 then really honda might be a better choice......in all honesty happy lr4 owners often get a little tired of... -
