    LR4 Calipers

Well, my calipers have never been worked on before. Not sure how they have failed after 4 years and 31k miles. Waiting on the warranty company (I bought the Land Rover extended warranty) to tell me if it’s covered or not. Shop owner seems to think they may decline and call it corrosion at...

    LR4 Calipers

Brought my 2016 LR4 HSE with 31,800 miles in to the local indy shop because I was hearing a grinding sound when braking. A few thousand miles ago, the dealer told me I needed brakes soon, so figured I'd get them looked at. Indy shop says yes I do need brakes (also does the rotors at the same...

    LR4 Extended Warranty

I very seriously considered a new land cruiser, they can be bought new for mid to high 70’s. 5-10 years ago this would have been a smart car to purchase, but with the world turning to EV or at least more efficient gas engines, I don’t see the LC as a good value right now.

    LR4 Extended Warranty

This was more enticing than getting into a new disco which to be honest I’m not a big fan of. Would have done a defender but I don’t think the price will be right for a few years after release. G wagon too expensive. What else is big and boxy and can fit a ton of cargo like the LR4?

    LR4 Extended Warranty

I bought the Land Rover VPP. It is through assurant. $100 deductible if I use a LR dealer shop, $250 otherwise. 48 month, up to 75k miles was $2883 plus tax. I purchased it at just under 30k miles. I plan to keep the car for another 4 years. Just changed tires, likely need brakes and...

    LR4 upper tailgate randomly opens

What does the button on the key fob do anyway? On my 16 HSE it just unlatches the trunk but doesn’t open it.

    LR4 Extended Warranty

Hi I have a '16 LR4 HSE, 29,500 miles. I've had it for 4 years, want to keep it for a while. Not mechanically inclined. 2 options for extended warranty... Land Rover/Assurant $3967, no deductible if I go to my local LR dealer for claims. CNA - $3800 - no deductible anywhere and I have a...

    LR4 Brakes and Rotors

I was told by several shops that I'm getting very close. No noises, no issues, no light on yet. The Indy shop advised me to wait until the light goes on.

    LR4 Brakes and Rotors

Thank you everyone for the tips, much appreciated. The local Independent shop claims they always do the rotors with the pads. Maybe I can convince them otherwise.

    LR4 Brakes and Rotors

Sorry, made a mistake on original post. $1450 is for front and rear pads and rotors, OEM.

    LR4 Brakes and Rotors

Sorry, I've searched through the forums and I know this has been discussed, but after sifting through the old posts I'm still unclear. 2016 LR4, 30k miles. Need brakes. Local Independent shop wants $1450 all in for front OEM pads and rotors. Local Firestone is $1000 all in for"Ceramic Gold"...
