Actually, in 2007 LR changed the oil specification on the oil for the V8 and it now specifies the following: "oil meeting specification API SM+ILSAC GF4". This is precisely why I use the Amsoil 0W30 Signature Series...as you can see it meets the specs: http://www.amsoil.com/storefront/azo.aspx... -

LR3 Rims and Tire setup- but I tow a boat often
I got 5 of them (4 corners plus the spare) for $157.51 each plus $44.95 for shipping for all five ($832.50 total to my door) from Summit Racing. Had them do a price match with another online tire price (which I can't recall for the life of me). -

I've had them on since April of this year. Love them so far. They really excel on rock surfaces. Haven't had any encounters with mud yet, but since they are AT vs MT I wouldn't expect much in the mud. I've heard they work very well in the snow, but I personally haven't had them in the snow... -

Couper Zeon LTZs 285/60/18 work just fine on a stock rim with no rubbing....its what I have. I believe the Zeon LTZ are also rate for more load than the Nittos, so they'd be better for towing. -

I run the NGK IFR5N10 #7866 spark plugs. These are the factory plugs you get from Land Rover for the LR3 V8, but using the NGK plug number you can pick them up much cheaper. Changing out the plugs is as easy as any other car with coil-packs -

I'll give it another try airing down to 15-20. The one difference between mine and your lr3 is that mine came with the full size spare so I didn't have those rubber stops to remove. I wonder if the steel plates on the undercarriage are a bit different between the compact and full spare set ups -

Ok I just spent two hours out trying to position the Zeon LTZ in the spare location and still "have plenty of room" to install the hitch. What's the secret tomasesto? did you cut out any of the metal near the exhaust? -

To fit my Zeon in the spare location I had to remove the shield, air down to 25, and use a floor jack to get it up in there. the way it is now, I can't use my hitch without removing the tire. Been meaning to pull it out to see if there is a way to better position it up in there to use the... -

06 LR3 P0175 check engine code just came on
Could be a number of things: - Stuck injector(s) on Bank 2 - Bad O2 Sensor(s) on the 2nd bank - poor spark on the 2nd bank (meaning new plugs or coil pack)
