    Yeah shopping around for the price "you feel comfortable" paying is just plain CRAZY. Apparently you should just find a dealership, walk in, and trust that they are going to give you the best possible deal. Thick sarcasm.

    Just got back from our wedding up in NH. First long road trip. Couldn't be happier with the the LR4. I was very pleased to have gotten up to 20 mpg on the way up and almost 19 on the way back. (To and from VA) We had the seats folded down and the truck packed with luggage, dog, cooler, etc...

    Yeah probably right. It just seemed that way when I looked at the numbers and tried to do it in my head. Still very happy with it.

    I just took my first long road trip and was pleasantly surprised to see I was getting 20.1 mpg. That is per the truck computer. I think it might actually be a little bit higher i do the actual mileage and long division. Ha. Trip was a little over 300 miles and probably averaged 75 mph.

    If you ever get "laughed"out of a dealership go to another one. Someone else will deal with you. No one should ever take bad treatment in a car dealership. I don't care what brand it is.

    thats where the negotiations come in. I wont go into the details specificallly but I was able to negotiate a lot more than what they were advertising in the deal. Its no different than negotiating for a purchase.
