OK, this is somewhat silly, but here goes. Both our 2010 LR4 and 2012 RR had the ability to change the voice from English (American) to English (British). We really liked the British accent (authentic or not). For the life of me, I can't figure out how to do it on our new 2016. There doesn't... -

They are actually calling it an "Explorer Discovery Edition"....really. And that one of the reasons we got the LR4 over a RR or RRS....ain't nothing else out there to even remotely confuse it with. -

Wow, and here I thought this thread was about the LUX vs. the new Landmark. For the record, LR4s are the least common vehicle in the range around here. RR's, RRS and Evoque's are a dime a dozen. Rarely see a new Disco Sport.....or maybe I just miss them in the crowd. -

Good question. They certainly seem to be wanting to wind down LR4 production for the model year change over to the new platform. I'm still shocked they didn't take my money for the RRS Autobiography and try to up sell someone else on this LR4 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I hear you and something I didn't catch. I wouldn't trade the truck and certainly no buyers remorse, but is a bit of a bummer. Word from the dealer is that they aren't taking new build orders on Disco/LR 4's anymore, so it was pretty much what's enroute or on the lots. -

Our dealer does an fun outing every fall on one of the DuPont heir's estate. We've had some good mud one year and some of the trail is pretty technical. Locks on 2012 Range Rover HSE LUX
Sorry for resurrecting this old thread, but wondering if there is any resolution. We just traded in our 2010 LR4 for a 2012 RR S/C and the two things we miss the most are 1) keyless unlocking - ability to just walk up to truck and unlock it as long as you have the key. You'll have a much better selection of off-road tires if you go with the 20". Pretty slim pickings for those of us with the 19" rims. -

The Perfect Dog Vehicle
The roofline of the LR4 makes it ideal for dog owners. While we don't go as far as the dog beds, our 4 furry giant breed family members ride happily even with the middle seats up. We can even get in an Xtra large crate when we transport rescue dogs.
