LR4 Maintenance/Problems/Issues
Dave, it is intermintent so they could not find it. It seems to have gone away. Mine was in the right front passenger door near the speaker. If i hear it again, I will drive with a tech so he hears it. -

We got hit by a huge snowstorm here in the mid-atlantic, 15+ inches of snow. The LR4 was amazing, not even close to being stuck and i drove through the deepest snow i could find. It just did awesome on all counts, starting stopping etc.... I must say i am impressed to say the least. -

Took my LR4 in for service 2 weeks ago. Decided to not wait until 15k for an oil change. Had 7600 miles on it and had it done and will probably stay on the 7500 mile service routine. Happy to report, other than a nail in my rear tire which caused a slow leak(thanks to low tire pressure... -

Scott, although there isnt a huge diference in the looks, there are some major upgrades to important items that may or may not have hindered the lr3. New more powerful engine. Diferent tires. New suspension. Completely diferent interior. i'l assume you read the LR4 thread and reviews etc. If... -

Scott, i would say nitpicking things would be something that bugs the crap out of you, but doesn't effect operation of the vehicle... ie A rattle etc, Also, you should check with the dealer on how the LR roadside assistance would work for you in case it breaks down. I think this is a tough... -

The HSE /7 seater i think list for 52900.00? I had quotes from 1500-2500 off the list. You should be able to get at least 1500 off imo. Good luck!! john -

Scott, I have had no issues to speak of after 3000 miles. As far as the oil changes go, its every 15000 miles or one year whichever comes first as per land rover. So i would say that really shouldn't be an issue for you since its once a year. That being said, its still a 3 hr ride for you... -
Lr4 Mpg
Bruce, I have actually filled up at the same place and the same pump each time....not by any design, its just where i go and the way i pull in the station. I have watched the top offs and the most i have seen is like .05 cents to round off...i use a cc so it doesnt matter plus i dont want gas...
