Mine did the same thing. Work in the morning but stopped in the afternoon. Dont chance it. I did had to tape plastic on my rear window till I finally ripped into the dash. Or just dont use them. -

Could be motor mounts like mention above, u-joints, or just slack in the drive train. -

Very normal this had been on every rover site about the classic clunk. Milage? If its really bad than you can have a problem. Before I shift into gear I place the shifter to neutral foot off the brake for a slight roll then brake again then select gear. 90% of the time no clunk. People... -

Newbie Discovery questions
