Charles123, If your concerned enough to write a post then you've already got your answer. :) Avoid the "brushed" carwashes because at the very least they're a gamble. Tips from My "DIY Oil Change"
If you are brave enough to get under it and change your own oil I would suggest adding some never-seize to the skid plate bolts as a few frozen bolts always spoil the fun. I decided to change my own after I found out the dealer wanted $150 for an oil chg with Synthetic!- Earing2008

Dragan, I was able to remove the AC vent and inspect the assembly but I was not able to determine the source. If you are still having the problem I would suggest taking the vent cover off, set it aside in the garage, and try to replicate the noise. Passenger side vent noise
Hopefully this is an easy one...... Does anyone know how to properly remove the passenger side silver vent cover/cup holder? When I get on rough roads I hear a vibration behind the cover and I want to investigate further. I don't see any bolts and I don't want to start pulling blindly.- Earing2008

Thanks for the info. I do have the phone controls on the steering wheel but I haven't had any luck trying to pair a phone with it. What did you do to your LR3 today?
Just picked up my girl from a new brake job. Supplied EBC greenstuffs all the way around, dealer supplied front rotors, wear sensors, and labor. Final bill; $800 AFTER I talked them down $150. Stupid me, I should have done it myself and just had them reprogram the parking brake. Lesson learned...- Earing2008

Hey Guys, I just got an 08 SE and I'd like to improve the braking, preferably with pads only. It sounds like one can't go wrong with the EBC's and Akebono's but shouldn't the rotors at least be trued up on a lathe to remove uneven wear and any warping that may exist?
