Has anyone removed / replaced their front driveshaft (propshaft) from the t-case to the front diff? Mines clicking and worn.
I got under the Rover and can’t figure out what needs to be removed to do the job.
That same scenario cost me $19,000 just an FYI.
If you’re on a budget, I wouldn’t even entertain the thought. If $$ isn’t really an object then proceed.
Pulled my plugs to chase down a misfire. I’m not sure what the coloration means, can someone help me figure this out?
Cyl 6 has a small amount of liquid that smells like fuel. I’m guessing I’ve got a leaky injector…

I may have residual air pockets or a new leak. The prior leak was nearly undetectable. I happened to...
Coolant level fluctuates, which I assume is understandable given the intense heat we have right now.
Sometimes I smell coolant and have to add some, and sometimes the level rises MUCH higher than others.
I monitor coolant temps with the GAP tool and they’re always the correct temp according...
It’s at it again. Last time I bypassed the heater core due to a leaking hose. Now the pressure when cold is back.
Doubting blown HG, as I can drive it 150 miles with 0 overheating issues.
I’ve got a new front driveshaft (JLR Branded) waiting to be installed and I firmly believe it’ll resolve the issue.
Also have a JXB carrier waiting to install.
I’ll report back once they’re installed.
Dang man. I’m way too **** bout my temps! I stopped driving it in the heat of the day BC I wasn’t comfortable with that level of temp.
I guess I’m still gun shy after buying a new (reman) engine last year. Def don’t want to replace another one!!
