alternator fuse 1996 Disco
Can a bad alternator fuse cause the alternator not to hold a charge? I thought I might need a new alt, but then discovered a bad fuse under the hood. Replaced it, jump started it, ran it for a while, turned it off and back on and started right up. I guess the real test will be tomorrow...- julitrotter

1996 Discovery Alternater Fuse
I recently took my Land Rover into the shop 4 times for the battery not holding a charge. They replaced the battery 3 times and could still not find the solution, even after hooking it up to the diagnostic computer. I asked if it might be the alternator and they said it was not.
