Thank god... I thought you were really worried and that was why you were whining. Being the dumb guy you are I couldn't know for sure.

    2011 lr4 dead

Sorry to keep you waiting. Wait no more. You will not get an explanation from me. Regarding your concern about the death threat, I wouldn't worry too much. You have only revealed you are from Northern Virginia, living in an old home with a 2-car garage in Michigan, and have a wife and two...

    LR4 durability and workhorse

I have owned several Landcruisers (FJ40, FJ62 & FJ70) and they were all very reliable. I had the 2F engine, 3F engine and 1FZ 6 cylinder in-line engines which lasted +200K Kms. I took these vehicles to jungles, deserts, mountains, beaches and had a blast. So I was a landcruiser man myself...

    2011 lr4 dead

I don't know if it's good but it is honest, so here's my advice: Go for it! I wish I could take a trip like that (bike or car) and hopefully someday I will. When I do, it'll be on a Discovery or on a R1200GS.

    2011 lr4 dead

Thanks Captain  gfcronus, I think I don't need to explain anything further. If you're still worried about the PMs, go to the police and let us know what they say P.S. Note my use of sarcasm to put to one side an argument with a flawed premise

You can't go around treating people like you do and expect no retaliation. I suggest you take the chance to reflect on your behavior and what you might have done to bring a threat on to yourself.

Discovery 4 pictures with a hitch hauler

The bike weighs 230 lbs and the hitch carrier another 25 lbs. The one in the picture I borrowed from a friend. On the carrier in the picture it's kind of awkward to dismount the bike because the carrier doesn't have a flat surface, it's built like a ladder with steps and gaps. The front...

Discovery 4 pictures with a hitch hauler

Compared with the same hauler on my friend's FJ Cruiser, the Discovery 4 adjusts the rear suspension so that it doesn't drop and it stays leveled. On the FJ Cruiser it drops slightly on the rear.

Discovery 4 pictures with a hitch hauler

They are not. It's one of the differences of the Discovery 4 we get to buy in Panama. I was offered the chance to install solar gard window tinting film but I really like the clarity of the clear windows.

Lowering the suspension for unloading and loading the bike was just the cherry on the pie

Discovery 4 pictures with a hitch hauler

This time I went to the track with my bike on a hitch motorcycle carrier. Hauling the trailer was barely noticeable but this setup is even better: It's like carrying a couple of people in the third row, I really could not notice the extra weight. I still managed to cruise at 90MPH on the freeway...

My LR4 is gone, the dream is dead

You need to drive one. It's what got me into buying my Discovery 4. The driving experience is out of this world: an incredible (I had never seen before) blend/balance of luxury and off-road capability. If and when you get yours, you will like the roar from the cooling fan. It's not an issue...

My LR4 is gone, the dream is dead

Depreciation is an accounting term for keeping track of your assett's value. The end result of trading the truck in for a cheaper vehicle is cash in your pocket for home repairs or other needs. By keeping it longer you can diminish the depreciation per year of owwnership, but this will do...
