I just installed 4 duratracs after the original continentals were toast at 28K miles. They look great. The guy at the tire shop hadn't heard of them and ordered them for me upon my request. After installing them on the LR4 he took pictures and complimented me on the look. We'll see if the wear...
2013 going on 28K miles still on original rotors and pads with no lights showing so far. 30K mile service due in August... we'll see what the dealer has to say. Last service they suggested to replace pads at 15K miles and I refused.
Your 2nd row mat looks exactly like my 2013 LR4 2nd row mat. My LR4 doesn't have the 2 hooks. It has a twist lock-tab that matches perfectly the hole on the right side and another one towards the rear where the mat wraps around the back of the seat.
Don't worry aout speed rating. You shouldn't be going over 100 MPH in your LR4 anyway :)
I am definitely going for the Duratracks replacing the crappy Contis that came on our LR4. They have a little under 20K miles and 14 months and are not going to last much more.
My only decision now is...
I got my 18" wheels with TPMS and winter tires (Pirelli Sottozero's) from Tire Rack last week. Temperatures still in the 50s around here, so I'm holding off on the swap. Ill probably swap later this month.
911 / LR4 combo is great
I'm in Danbury. Just moved here a little over a year ago from Panama and last Winter was brutal. We got snow on April 15th.
I love CO, especially the Boulder area. Got a few friends living somewhere in between Denver & Boulder.
Hey David, it's been a while :hello:
Traded in the RRS for a Porsche 911 Targa 4S and kept the trusty LR4. Looking forward to trying the 911 out in the snow
I've enjoyed great traction and had a lot of fun in the snow up here in CT (I also find myself looking for snow instead of avoiding it). Turning isn´t that great though, but I blame that on the stock Contis. Next Winter I´ll get some nice snow tires.
I'm glad we picked up our 2013 V8 LR4 and V8 RRS in August. The new RRS just doesn't do it for me: It seems like an oversized Evoque and I like the classic Range Rover look of the 2013 V8 RRS. On the LR4, the single speed transfer case wouldn't be a problem because we could just order the HD...
