    Luckily they are 18" wheels. AT 265/65 tires are on the shopping list.Maybe even some 285/65 together with a set of johnson rods. I'll post pics. For sand these tires did just fine but for some of the trips we wanna take I'd like a good set of AT tires.

    Yup. That's how I did it and it went OK. No sand mode or low ratio transmission. Just DSC off and high suspension setting.

    I did some sand driving today. Didn't air down or switch to low and the Disocvery did great. I did turn off DSC and set the suspension to high though.

    My Discovery 4 came with Nav System but no maps for central america, so I can get coordenates and bearing but can't navigate routes. I have a map for central America which Works fine on my garmin gps. Does any one know how to load maps into the Nav System?

    Discovery 4 in Panama ships with 18" wheels (lucky for me since I plan to replace Wrangler HPs with an AT tire). Also, it's the only Discovery 4 with Almond/Arabica interior sold in Panama (had to special order) since Land Rover imports all vehicles with black interior.
