I'd be interested to know what the measured height from the rear deck base to the underside of the moon roof cover is in the 7-seat Disco. Mine is a 5-seat HSE Td6 and the height measures 35". I'm very glad I got the 5-seat because there's quite a bit of extra storage space under the rear deck.- ar077

I love my D5. It's the quintessential fusion of long distance highway driving comfort and apocalyptic off-road capability. Completely agree regarding tire age. When buying a set of tires I always check the DOT code to make sure they were all manufactured at--or close to--the same time and are not more than 2 years (preferably <1 year) old. And even if the spare hasn't touched the road I replace it every second... -

What you meant to say is that Discount Tire store [viz., the one you went to] will not install tires with any specs below factory. My Discount Tire store didn't bat an eye when installing S-rated 285/50-20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s in place of the stock W-rated 255/55-20 Goodyear Eagles on my D5... -

Jack broken
